Where to Find Help for the Endure Halo 3: ODST Vidmaster Challenge Achievement

When I tried to get the Endure Achievement I had a hard time finding enough people to help me. When I was desperately sending out invites to every one one my friends list and even those on my friends friend list one person recommend I try looking for help in the Bungie.net Classifeds Forum which really helped me get Endure. If you can't find people to help you with endure I recommend you look there.

Lag on Xbox Live

Quite often when I am on Xbox Live I experience Lag. Sometimes the Lag is hardly noticeable and sometimes it is unbearable. I know that my connection is terrible at times and that sometimes is the causes of my lag. What drives me mad is the fact that people intentionally tamper with their connections, using a lag switch or something else, in order to give themselves an unfair advantage. I know that there are other factors that attribute to the lag on Xbox Live too.

How to get the Halo 3 Vidmaster Challenge Annual achievement

Getting this achievement is extremely hard. You have to have lots of patience. In order to get this achievement you have to complete the last campaign mission in Halo 3 which is called Halo on Xbox Live Co op with 3 other players to have a total of 4 players in your party. What makes this achievement hard to get is the fact that you have to do the mission on Legendary difficulty which is the hardest, and on top of that you have to have the iron skull on which makes you restart from the last checkpoint when ever someone in your group dies. The fact that you have to ride ghosts at the end is not that difficult fortunately.

The trick to getting this achievement is teamwork, strategy and patience. You can not go running around without your group if you expect to get anywhere, you have to stay with your group just to survive. Also, you can not go rushing into combat with your group, you should stay back and try to take out as many enemies as possible from a distance. Finally, you have to have lots of patience in order to get this achievement, it will probably take you a long time to get this achievement. It took me 2 hours to get this achievement. Another good thing to do is to not get angry at other members in your party for messing up as it does not do any good and you probably messed up many times to.

The easiest way to the the Classic Achievement in Halo 3 ODST

The easiest way to get the Classic Vidmaster Challenge achievement in Halo 3 ODST is to go on Uplift Reserve and take a Ghost, instead of a Warthog, and use the Ghosts boost throughout the mission. You will probably run low on health quite often so you should keep an eye out for health packs.


In you do not know how to get the Classic Vidmaster Challenge achievement you have to complete any level solo on Legendary, on Xbox LIVE, with no shots fired or grenades thrown. source: xbox.com

Comparison of Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and Wii Network

Here is a short comparison of the three major gaming console networks.

Voice Communication

For the ability to communicate with other players Xbox Live is the best. After playing a while on each network I noticed that more people use microphones to talk over Xbox live than any of the other networks so Xbox Live ranks first for voice communication. I did notice that some people use microphones to talk over the PlayStation Network, but there were not nearly as many as there were over Xbox Live, which ranked the PlayStation Network in second place. The Wii network had no one talking over it with microphones when I played on it. Unlike the Xbox 360 and the PS3 in which the majority of the games out for these consoles have voice communication, there are only a few games for the Wii that have voice communication. So the Wii network ranks in last place for voice communication.

Performance and Reliability

I have noticed lots of times when Xbox Live was down or experiencing technical difficulties unlike the other major gaming console networks so obviously Xbox Live ranks worst for reliability. Additionally, I have noticed more lag and connection losses over xbox live than any other gaming console networks so obviously Xbox Live has the worst performance and reliability of the three major gaming networks. There were times when I noticed lag and connection losses over the PlayStation Network but I haven't wxperienced any of that over the Wii network so I would say the Wii network has the best reliability and performance.

Price

Xbox Live has a subscription fee while the Playstation Network and the Wii network are free so Xbox Live is obiously the most expensive out of the three.

Fun

This matters on what you personally like so I can't really say which one is the most fun to play, but I can tell you that in my opinion I find Xbox Live to be the most enjoyable out of the three.

Other Factors

Other factors like the maximum number of players in a game depend on the game you are playing.

New Halo 3 Multiplayer Maps

Three new multilayer maps are coming out with Halo 3 ODST on the game disc when it is released. Additionally all of the previous Halo 3 download multiplayer map packs and the original multiplayer maps on the Halo 3 game disc will be on the Halo 3 ODST disc. I don't know if they will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace for download. The new maps are Heretic, Longshore, and Citadel. Heretic is a remake of the Halo 2 multiplayer map Midship. These maps are the second part of the Mythic map pack and like the other maps in the mythic map pack, there is a hidden skull, that if found unlocks an achievement, located on each of these new maps. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is an FPS (first person shooter) game and it is the second Call of Duty game that takes place in the present, the other being Call of Duty Modern Warfare. The other Call of Duty games took place during WWII. The game has online multiplayer support for Xbox Live and Play Station Network. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will be available for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. The release date for this game is November 10.

Halo 3 ODST

Halo 3 ODST , is a game that came out on September 22 for the Xbox 360, is an FPS (first person shooter) game that is in the Halo game series. This game's name was originally Halo 3 Recon but it was changed later to Halo 3 ODST. Unlike in the past Halo series games the main character is an ODST instead if a Spartan. I don't want to give to much away, so if you want more info try the game yourself.
